Susan Gray's love of animals, and especially dogs, started at an early age. At only four years old, she developed allergies to the family cocker spaniel, Cindy. After a visit to the doctor, he told them that because of her allergies, the family had to make a choice: Susan or the dog. Well, her Mom chose the dog. Susan stayed, too. Cindy became her best friend, and Susan has owned and loved many dogs ever since. In fact, she can't remember a time when she didn't have a dog.
Susan sincerely appreciates the unique role pets play in people's lives. Her love of dogs and her entrepreneurial spirit is what led to Personalized Pooch. For 26 years before starting this site, she founded and owned Give My Regards To... a stationery and gift store. Susan's love of giving special gifts, especially to friends who love their pets as much as she does, naturally evolved into Personalized Pooch, a place where you can find inspired gifts for pet lovers.
